Dr. Brown has enjoyed working in private practice since 1980. Besides his work at Prairie Podiatry, LLC, he travels to our Specialty Clinic in Pana, IL as well. Dr. Brown graduated from Griffin High School in Springfield, Illinois. He then obtained his Associate of Science Degree from Lincoln Land Community College.
Dr. Brown enjoys being an active staff member of Springfield Memorial Hospital, HSHS-Saint John's Hospital, as well as consulting staff member of Taylorville Memorial Hospital and Pana Community Hospital.
He is a past President of The Zone Three Illinois Podiatry Society and past member of the Board of the Illinois Podiatry Society. He was the first Chairman of the Department of Podiatry at Saint John's Hospital for eleven years. He participated in research associated with diabetic wound care at SIU School of Medicine with his business associate Dr. John A. Shoudel.
Dr. Brown's community activities include singing in the choir of Blessed Sacrament Church and past member of the Board of Directors of the Springfield Classical Guitar Society.
