Description:
Pana Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused individual to serve as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This position plays an important role in supporting our nursing team and providing quality, hands-on care to patients. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, vital signs, and other basic patient-care needs while promoting patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety. Salary Range $18.08 - $21.70 (based on experience)
Requirements::
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing and without disciplinary action.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and protect PHI.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to lift and carry and perform medium to heavy physical work.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and crouching.
- Ability to push carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when required.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check with no disqualifying findings.
