Quilts Donated to Hospice

Quilts Donated to Hospice

December 12th, 2017

Quad County Hospice, 8 Huber St. Pana was the recipient of 4 lap quilts made at the Holliday Quilts & More of Ramsey by quilters Barb Reiss of Ramsey and Kathy Reeves of Hillsboro.  Upon admission to the Quad County Hospice Program, the lap quilt is presented to the Hospice patient for comfort, warmth and to add something pretty to their bed or chair.  The quilter decides on the design and colors of each quilt.   Holliday Quilts & More will be holding a special quilting session in January to make more lap quilts for Quad County Hospice patients.   Holliday Quilts & More is located at 122 N Superior in Ramsey, owned and operated by professional seamstress Ruth Van Utyven Holliday.   Quad County Home Health & Hospice services Christian, Shelby, Fayette and Montgomery Counties.
