The position is a Full-Time position with benefits and performs the following but no limited to the following:

  • Provides clerical and secretarial assistance necessary to maintain the efficient productive operation of the laboratory
  • Assumes the responsibility for performing venipuncture and related procedures
  • Demonstrates sufficient knowledge of medical terminology required for interpreting physician orders and patient diagnosis
  • Demonstrates knowledge in the collection, handling, and distribution of specimens.
  • Demonstrates competence in drawing neonate, pediatrics, adult, and geriatric patients.  

Qualifications:

  • National Certification in Phlebotomy
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relation skills

Pana Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imagining Team.

 

The position is a Full-Time 32 hour/week day shift with rotating weekend coverage position, benefits and performs the following but not limited to the following:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures, perform the tests, and maintain the equipment.
  • Should be considerate and compassionate and have the physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and physically disabled patients.
  • Opportunity to become specialized in advanced imaging such as MRI, CT, DEXA or Mammography.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and patient service skills.
  • Above average computer skills preferred.
  • Able to perform assigned duties independently without direct supervision.
  • The flexibility to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • A Certificate, an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required along with registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Illinois license from the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety is required
  • Current BLS certification is required
  • CT Certification (preferred)
  • 1-2 years prior experience (preferred)

  • Experience with pulmonary function testing, cardiac stress testing, and holter monitors strongly desired
