Pana Community Hospital, Carlinville Area Hospital, and Hillsboro Area Hospital formed an alliance of south-central Illinois hospitals. This alliance establishes the framework to allow these Critical Access Hospitals to collaborate on mutually beneficial opportunities in order to maintain professional, community-based, high quality healthcare in their local communities. While the three hospitals serve distinct, rural, south-central Illinois communities, they share similar missions, goals, and challenges, and currently collaborate in a variety of ways. Professional Educator Job Description

This exciting new position based out of Carlinville will serve as the Professional Educator for the three hospitals who are members of the South Central Alliance (Carlinville Area Hospital, Hillsboro Area Hospital, and Pana Community Hospital). The Professional Educator will be a full-time, exempt employee. The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge and understanding of nursing protocols, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing Education
  • Current Illinois licensed RN in good standing
  • Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • 5+ years hospital nursing experience (2+ years critical care experience preferred)

 

While this role is based out of Carlinville Area Hospital, the candidate must have the ability and transportation to travel between all three organizations in the South Central Alliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

We are seeking a PRN CRNA to complement our anesthesia team. Pana Community Hospital has undergone significant growth with our beautiful new surgical suite. This growth is anticipated to continue as we expand and introduce new specialty providers.   • 5–10 years previous experience preferred
  • Current certification as a CRNA through NBCRNA – CPC Program
  • Current licensure for state of Illinois

Pana Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imagining Team.

 

The position is a Full-Time 32 hour/week day shift with rotating weekend coverage position, benefits and performs the following but not limited to the following:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures, perform the tests, and maintain the equipment.
  • Should be considerate and compassionate and have the physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and physically disabled patients.
  • Opportunity to become specialized in advanced imaging such as MRI, CT, DEXA or Mammography.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and patient service skills.
  • Above average computer skills preferred.

Qualifications
