Public Invited to Open House

December 24th, 2019

After over three years of construction, the wait is almost over.  Pana Community Hospital is excited to unveil Phase II of their building project at an Open House Celebration on Thursday, December 12th.  The event will begin with a short program and ribbon cutting at 4:30 pm with Open House to follow until 6:00 pm.

Guests will be able to view the front addition including reception area, registration offices, and FastCare (an urgent care service).  If a guest has not seen portions of Phase I of the building project, they may request a tour of the back addition as well.  Refreshments will be served in the Harvest Café located in the basement of the new addition.

On August 10, 2017 the hospital broke ground on what is one of the largest building projects the hospital has undertaken.  The $20.3 million dollar project added 30,000 square feet to the hospital.  The project slogan is “Your Health, Our Future” because the hospital believes this project is essential to our ability to serve your healthcare needs and to secure our future in the communities we serve.

The Building Project was designed in two phases.  Phase I, or the Patient Services addition, created additional space for a new surgical suite, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, cardiopulmonary, materials management and nutritional services including the Harvest Café.
