LiveWell 5K Run Benefit McMillen Scholarship

Proceeds from LiveWell 5K Run/Walk Benefit McMillen Scholarship and Building Fund

The Pana Community Hospital Foundation presented Terry and Jane McMillen with a check for $1,000 to be used for the Brian McMillen Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The money was part of the fundraising efforts from the LiveWell 5K Run/Walk held on Memorial Day weekend.  Proceeds from the race benefitted the PCH Building Project and the local McMillen Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The event raised $2,000 with over 175 participants.  Proceeds from the race will ensure funds continue for the memorial scholarship as well as support the local hospital.  Pana Community Hospital would like to thank all the volunteers, participants, Pana Fire, Pana Police and the race sponsors who included:  First National Bank of Pana, Carol Schramm, McMillen Builders, Peoples Bank & Trust, Oak Terrace Resort & Spa, Beyers Chiropractic, Hilton Plumbing, Country Companies-Kathy Kircher, and Wilborn Creek Powersports.  Also thanks to the following who donated prizes for the participants:  Subway, Pizza Man, Save-A-Lot, Pana Chamber of Commerce, Pana High School, Arpeggio Winery, Pana News Group, Squeaky Clean Car Wash, Pana Bowl, McDonalds, LiveWell Fitness and First National Bank of Pana as the Grand Prize sponsor.
